I'm very fond of reading. It is my habit to read silently every book I come across. I'm more fond of poetry anthologies than novels and short stories. A mong the poetry anthologies I have read, the book " hiruth hima piyallaka"can be identified as one of my favorite books. The book was written by Sir.Mahinda Prasad Masimbula and won the state award for best poetry collection in 2010. The book is written in sinhala and one of the poem included is " wisal" ( massive ). The poem has been translated into English by Malathi Kalpana Ambrose.This is one part of it.
