Sigiriya rock

Sigiriya is a historical site of archaeological value that reads about the history of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is mentioned of folklore as a fort built by king kasyapa. Sigiriya is a royal palace on the top of the rock.And it has Sigiriya lalanavas images, lion made of stone, Sigiriya mirror wall amd moats. 
      There is an easy way to climb to the top of the rock through a flight of stairs built through the lion's mouth. Sigiriya is a cultural museum. Because of the important aspects of 5th century urban planning and landscaping, engineering, water technology, architecture, arts and literature.
The painting in this picture was drawn by me in watercolor medium. The Sigiriya rock is depicted from a distance. I think you have painted a historical place like this.❤❤

Poetry ❤

I'm very fond of reading. It is my habit to read silently every book I come across. I'm more fond of poetry anthologies than novels and short stories. A mong the poetry anthologies I have read, the book " hiruth hima piyallaka"can be identified as one of my favorite books.      The book was written by Sir.Mahinda Prasad Masimbula and won the state award for best poetry collection in 2010. The book is written in sinhala and one of the poem included is " wisal" ( massive ).
